Sony Cancels Two Live-Service Games, Including a God of War Project

Sony has made waves this week with the announcement of two canceled live-service game projects, including one from Bluepoint Games based on God of War. While the details remain scarce, the revelation that Bluepoint was developing a multiplayer-focused entry in the God of War universe certainly raised some eyebrows. Bend Studio, the team behind Days Gone, also had a live-service project scrapped as part of Sony’s evolving strategy.
