IGN Review: Marvel Rivals Delivers a Strong Hero Shooter Experience

We’re excited to share IGN’s review of Marvel Rivals, a fresh take on the hero shooter genre that’s definitely making waves. In a time when both the MCU and hero shooters aren’t quite as dominant as they once were, Marvel Rivals is doing everything it can to stand out, and it’s succeeding. 

 

In their review, Simon Cardy dives into what makes the game so enjoyable: it’s approachable for newcomers, yet has a high skill ceiling that will keep even the most dedicated players coming back for more. Despite the game drawing inspiration from other hero shooters, IGN praises Marvel Rivals for carving out its own identity and positioning itself as a serious contender in the genre. With consistent fun and a balance of accessible and competitive gameplay, it’s easy to see why the game is already getting attention.
