Knights And Bikes Gameplay by Heuster 101

Another impressive indie title I have played recently is Knights and Bikes from the British development team Foam Sword. You can play in co-op the entire time, which makes it a lot of fun, but you can play it by yourself too. It was on Game Pass a while back, but I loved it so much that I decided to purchase it. It is available for Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch. I have always loved riding my bike, I own three different bikes, so when I saw the title of this game, I had to check it out. I am glad I did because I enjoyed this game from the beginning to the end.

The story follows two young girls, Demelza, Nessa, and their goose sidekick, Honkers, who travel on their bikes looking for treasure. They meet some memorable characters along the way and fight some scary monsters. Straight from the title screen, we hear an excellent punk rock tune. The music and hand-drawn art are part of what makes this game so unique. The combat is entertaining, with puddle jumping and war cries that bring you back to childhood innocence. This heartwarming story had me engaged from beginning to end. A few parts of the adventure deal with loss, and I admit, I teared up. Overall I loved the story, it brought me a lot of joy, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Check out the video to see the first few minutes of gameplay and decide for yourself if you want to see more.
