Oblivion Is Still Excellent 15 Years Later by GameSpot
Have you played Elder Scrolls Oblivion? Well, GameSpot's Jake Dekker revisits Bethesda's classic to see how it holds up 15 years later. I recently played Oblivion for the first time, and I loved it. I came to the Elder Scroll series quite late, playing Skyrim for the first time only a few years ago when they released it for the Xbox One. I had so much fun and put over 400 hours in one playthrough. Afterward, it was clear that I needed to try Oblivion.
Even though it had its issues, I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I didn't put nearly as many hours into it, but I had a lot of fun. Especially once I lowered the difficulty. Once I started leveling up a bit, I need to run around for 15 minutes to kill one goblin, the enemies level with the player, and it gets painful. The faces are hilarious looking, and I think I did a decent job of making my character look decent.
I would highly recommend that fans of Skyrim give this game a go. I had a lot of fun, especially while doing the side quests. I still need to play Morrowind, and I will probably be doing that soon.

Oblivion is a great game, not as excellent as Skyrim but considering how old this game is it's really impressive! It's pretty fun and some of the NPCs are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteYeah the NPCs are great! I laughed so much during this game.
