Metroid Dread (Metroid 5) Trailer - Nintendo E3 2021

Check out the trailer for Metroid Dread! For years I have been waiting for a new Metroid game and seeing this made me extremely happy. Metroid Dread, also known as Metroid 5 (successor to Metroid: Fusion), looks like a lot of fun! I grew up playing 2D Metroid games so this brings back a lot of great memories. I cannot wait to try out Samus Aran's new abilities. I love the fact that she can engage in melee combat, and I must admit, Samus looks good kicking ass in her new badass suit. 

I was hoping to see anything Metroid Prime 4 related but hearing that they are taking their time to create a quality game is good news. In the meantime, Metroid Dread aka Metroid 5 shall satisfy my thirst for Metroid. The game is schedule to be released October 8, 2021.
