Happy 27th Birthday To Super Metroid!

 

We would like to wish one of our all-time favorite games, Super Metroid, a very wonderful birthday. It just wouldn't feel right to not post about the fact that one of the best games ever was released on this date 27 years ago in Japan for the Super Nintendo. The world cannot forget that the Metroid series is the original inspiration for all Metroidvanias and when it comes to the third game of the series, Nintendo simply hit it out of the ballpark. 

Super Metroid is, for lack of a better word, perfect. We have very fond memories of playing this game in our youth. Best believe that we still play it once in a while not only for nostalgia's sake but because it is genuinely an incredibly fun game. Super Metroid has stood the test of time and is considered by many to be a true classic.
