Castlevania II: Simon's Quest is just one of those games that many fans of the series tend to avoid. Granted that die-hard fans of this game do exist, in general, Simon's Quest is considered the black sheep of the family. Despite its flaws, it is still an important game in the iconic Castlevania series and it deserves to be acknowledged.
